Delete WarningThe delete button is there for a reason – Be selective, play the picture editor and bin the rubbish

  1. If the photo wasn’t good enough when you took it – delete it
  2. If the photo isn’t good enough when you look at it a second time – delete it
  3. If the photo’s too dark or too light and you really can’t make out any detail – delete it
  4. If the picture’s all fuzzy because you got too close to the subject – delete it
  5. Has your photo passed its use by date – If a picture’s no longer important or relevant why keep it?
  6. I really didn’t focus on that – shoot again and delete the out of focus one
  7. If the picture is blank – why keep it?
  8. Did that lamp-post really move or was that last drink one to many – if you have a problem with camera shake – delete
  9. A bad photo will always be just that – unless there’s a sentimental reason for keeping it – delete it.
  10. If your camera automatically takes more than one exposure of everything – choose the best, bin the rest
